now when i read 'here's a shot of my rack', i expected something altogether different, more... globular, supple, even..... even pendulous?

But it was not to be, nice cd shelf!

Hi Airdavid, Before buying I did compare with and without flatcap, and IMHO, there was no comparison. But I strongly advise to try with your own ears as they are different from mine!

Aff005, An IKEA special, the Billy rack. Cheap, simple in style and the best thing I could find. This one holds about 420 CDs, about half my collection.

Cheers,

Marco

Added top racks to isolate sources better and got the SL2 off the granite slabs. LP12 was the last to change with addition of linto begining of 2006, apart from that and a couple of other LP12 upgrades, no changes since end 2004 Smile

Regards
Mark

Since I`ve decided to keep my setup....here it is.
It`s Great, only adding a second base, Fraim out of center and move into dedicated listeningroom.

Happy weekend
Regards Steinar
