Hi All.

Finally got the stuff out of boxes (never listened to as bought while moving). Sounds good (warm for a day) but expecting a second wave if what I read is correct.

Thanks to posts that informed me.
Thanks to eBay and tomtom for affordability.

System: CDX2/202/NAPSC/HICAP/200/NSATs/G's Hydra/Corras

Question: The left channel is on the left as I listen to it, right? (checked this with my iPod). So why is it on the right at the back of the amp (as you look at it) causing the speaker cables to cross?

Many thanks

Neil

....Naim views everything from the back of their systems. When you do that everything is in the correct place.

Right Speaker outlet on the righthand side
Input sockets numbered 1 to 6 (7) from left to right,
Din wiring convention correct.

Basically fine except us poor HiFi geeks typically work from in front of the equipment cause there ain't no room round the back so we're confused. I actually get the drawing in the manual out and turn it upside down to help me from time to time. Cool

Hm, I find this a bit confusing. Do the speakers position in relation to the listening position in front of them. Sitting behind the equipment during listening would be quite suboptimal I guess. Winker

Mr Walker;

How to make DBL's look small - excellent. The Hutter stack looks great too - really elegant.

Franz;

The SBL's look nice.

I hope that CD rack is very well screwed to a solid wall?

Cue Michael Jackson going "Aaoow".

John.

Thanks John,

Yes the Dbls do look tichy compared to the beasts dont they,they are my pride and joy though so they'll soon be back in prime position.Here's another of the hutter rack in better light i hope the finish is european cherry for anyone interested.

If anyone has any comments or recommendations with respect to system placement, or anything for that matter that may improve sound quality, these are most welcome.

Special thanks goes to Hungryhallibut for recomendations on Naim Fraim / equipment configuration.

Kind regards,

Joe

Joe,

I know this a silly question? But did you mix up your coloured with your dark items in the wash? viz LP12 mat... Confused
