David

I suggest that you swap the CD player and the stagline/headine for an instant improvement.

Out of boredom at this moment I just fiddled a bit in Paint, to figure out what my Rogers
would look like when painted black.

(normally, when buying new, I wouldn't choose black speaker cabinets, but in this case I
think I even prefer black over the ugly 70's colour they have now) Roll Eyes

Second system
B&W DM 4's, 72/140, Rotel RCD 9658X. Cat Sabrina (Somali).

For the curious, the third box is a Nait 2 currently awaiting re-deployment in a possible third system.

Regards

Nic

Apologies for the size of pics, still trying to master Image Shack. Also do not look too closely at the dusting and the wine stains on the carpet!

nicnaim,

You should delete every pictures you posted, resize them from 1600x1200 to 900x600, decrease each file's weight from 850 ko to 100ko and post them again, otherwise it takes too long to have them on the screen.

Regards,
Edouard

Trust me, black looks worse and would devalue them if you painted them.

Garyi,

I've never seen Mick's pad, so not sure if either of us are being insulted. Each to their own. Winker

Gianluigi,

Thanks. The DM 4's were bought new in 1980, and were my first speakers, consequently I am still very fond of them. They still sound good to having had a serious going over at B&W a few years back to replace both mids and tweeters, after one too many loud parties!

The 804's are more recent and have been abused slightly less as a result of greater maturity (?) and fewer wild nights.
