Airdavid,
imho harbeth c7 is a good match with nait5i. C7's are rather ease to drive (8 ohm with minimum about 6ohm), so in my room I dont think if I need to change nait5i for nap/nac. I tried old 112x with 150x and I was not impressed. I think 200/202 would be next step instead of my nait5i.
But now (I am going building my house) it's too expensive for me.
cd5x is imho more detailed and more open over 5i. Vocals have more body. I found also better depth than cd5i. The improvements are most impresive in classical cds - e.g violins, vocals and piano are imho more realistic. I preffer classical and jazz music, so cd5x is better for me. Although I love cd5i and after all I could live with it all my life.
Bye
adam
ps sorry for my english.

It's not 2007 yet! Smile

The above system didn't change much except for the cartridge and an addition of a Lingo I.

Oz,

It's the Michelin man on the right.

Joe Camel, Stay Puff® mashmallow man and Kentucky Fried Chicken Colonel Sanders to the left.

TC,

I shot them...
Big Grin

Seriously, one day, out of frustration, I decided to disconnect the Puppy Tails and, I liked the WATT without Puppies!

So, I schlepped the head units to the smaller office rig and they worked beautifully there.

In the US, the WATTs are always available as a monitor. ( that's how they started and they added on the Puppies later which has always been a problem with the W/P systems, IMHO ) It's just not too many ppl. use them unless for the work purpose.

I still think that the WATTs are one of the better monitors around and still believe that they are the best product that the Wilson makes.

parmenides,

Glad to see a Project headbox user here ! Have you considered other option when you choose the project? It is a very tempting choice for its price, have you compared it to mroe expesnive amps?
