something strange started happening lately, my nab 300 which has always operated from the floor now got its separate stand-to minimise vibration because of its fan and sheer size. however i noticed that the right channel stops playing time and again. i have brought it back to life by switching the power-amp on and off. what could be the cause? what diagnostic tests can i make and any remedy-back on the floor is it or what? any adnvice?

regards

Never seen a 300---but logic would say its a loose connection and ? is this due to new strains on you interconect or its socket on the amp with it's recent change in altitude.
Give it a wobble does this cause the channel to crackle or go silent?--or any other or the leads in your system.
If its a component--is it about to cry enough and take out your preamp in spite?--This is what would worry me.

Not much help huh!
I just hate to see unanswered posts.

cheers Richard
