Or did you mean "getting wet when playing on compact disks" Doesn't sound very comfortable. And for sure will hurt both, partner and CD's.

PWB Electret Cream is a Peter Belt Tweak Product. There was a recent discussion on Peter Belt, which you can find on the search facility.

quote: I came across this article in the Journal of Irreproducible Audio Results. The author was non other then PWB. I have risked copywrite infringement to draw these essential audio products to your attention. "After much experimentation I found that the optimal 'optical interface' to ease the great disparity between the refractive indices of the laser plastic/air/CD polycarbonate media is indeed PWB AudioWater. Not only is the temperature at which it is distilled a perfect multiple of the divine number of three (degrees K), but the refractive index is also very close to a being a dividend of the very same number. This essential product is also available in spray form to cancel out the slight static charge that develops on tympanic membranes during harmonious oscillation. With the very high dialectric constant of cereum (earwax) there are approximately 0.00003 Coloumbs of stored charge within each ear canal providing a constant voltage field that the charged tympanic membranes vibrate around. Which renders the ear into surely the smallest electrostatic speaker in the world. The final PWB product that all audio afficionados must consider is the PWB MembranePiercer. Ron |

... was a contraceptive lubricant popular in the '90s as an alternative to KY.
It was later adopted by Peter Belt who believed that it improved the audio performance of his CD player. Trouble is, it tended to cause your laser to loose aim and was often responsible for the premature ending of the session. Many users complained of problems in the rhythm/timing department too. Avoid it if PRaT is high on your list of priorities. Rob. |
