All the signal interconnects supplied with our products will be the new, or "lavender", type,
Over the years the appearance of the cable we use has undergone small variations - the sound has always been as good or better than what went before.

Thanks for the info.
But what year did this lavender Ic started? Do you think there is such substantial difference between the two, or is it just the color? From the serial number will I get to know the year or date of manufacture of my unit?
Actually now, I am very satisfied with my Nait5i/CD5i & Totem Dreamcatcher system in my small room. Though I am still on break-in process, I already enjoyed it and pretty sure it will be better once fully run-in. Thanks again.

Hi,
From memory the interconnects changed around ten years ago from grey to a grey/lavender.
It's very certain you have the new one.
Grey with a slight hint of lavender if you look in a certain light ect...

Lavender looks grey to me rather than deep purple so you will have the lavender IC - so just listen to the music and enjoy
