I have just been informed that the following terms are no longer permitted on the forum:
(1) organic (2) smooth (3) sweet (4) bright (5) harsh (6) laid back (7) in yer face (8) veil (9) warm (10)Any reference to the smell or look of Naim electronics I guess we need to evolve our vocabulary. It shouldn't take long. It appears that many here are already found one - "ipod". |

I have banned all the following words from being used in my home in a hi fi context:
gusset cuticle aubergine pubic diesel gimcrack flange winnet polyp hotel necrotic sebum pencil It's pathetic that we've become so used to lame cliches that our ability adequately descibe our aural pleasures has atrophied to such a degee. Sad days indeed. |
