Very interesting comparisons to be made. Wouldn't u guys think that something a bit higher the Naim range would be more appropriate?

Regards...

Hello Flame ...

This is not a shoot out match. Hawaii of all places will be more about the experience and the music than the sizes of u know what. Winker

Each presentation will be half hour at a time, and in turn between reps of the three highly respected marques in attendance.

The HDX (inclusive high-rez replay) and Superline, are top notch Naim components of their kind, and will be the focus of my particular demo. There is also something to be said for presenting a relatively affordable system that still bats one out of the ballpark!

At the end of the day it's Shane's event, and his final choices for this particular audience ... and I am in total agreement with the overall plan for this event, which has been agreeably discussed amongst all those supporting it.

By the way, we'll also have Naim Fraim, and an ARO and Armageddon will also be employed Cool

I also will mention here that I have spent a good part of the weekend with an HDX (ripping discs!) and listening to it with a Supernait and SL2's, and also with Hi-Rez USB disk based material. Some riveting moments to be sure, and I have no doubt that my demo in Hawaii will be musically captivating come what may ...

We'll save the 500 series for another day and good reason to return to paradise Winker
