Interesting the pictures people take. From the angles you guys photographed the tower, little has probably changed for many, many years (save for the wheelie bin of course!)

Here's my take on the tower. A place of rest and a terrific vantage point to view the surrounding area:

Yep...I guess we all went up the smaller accessible tower and shot pretty much the same thing. I published one on the earlier thread at http://forums.naim-audio.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/48019385/m/4742982517

regards

This is getting like the Frank, Nigel and Peter holiday album. Which is a good thing.

Thanks PB,

Pity I messed up with Image Shack!!

I switched everything off on Tuesday morning and put all on again when I returned this evening. Back on song after less than an hour.

I went back to 560 for the Akiva and moderated the toe in a little and IMO it is better. Rua's turn tomorrow and maybe I will try the VPI soon??

I always like to toe mine out a little further than peter to have a bigger sweet spot.

Let us know how you get on with the VPI and BTW, I have bigger chillies tonight Winker

Frank let the VPI stay in its box for now.
Its been there for months and you have enough to play with now.
Reason for this. Winker
Will speak to you over the weekend.

Mmm ok if you prefer, but give the 576R another try once the system is fully warmed later today.

Yes perseverve with the 576R Frank, it would be a shame to lose that extra detail and dynamics,

Hi Peter/PB,

Yes I will keep trying the 576 but at the moment the 560 has more detail and better bass. I listened to Beethoven 9 last night (VPO, Bohm) and the 560 had better balance, more detail and a much cleaner cello/double bass presentation. I will try again latter today before Anna returns Smile,
