Hi newbloke and welcome.
I used a SNAPS in the past. As far as I am aware it can only power one piece of equipment at a time . I think the extra sockets are there to allow for different equipment combinations eg. powering pre-amp or electronic crossover etc.
Regards,
Peter

The SNAPS was designed to power 2 items at a time.

I think Peter is correct in that it can only power one item at a time....it was single rail supply unit designed to power the original pre-amps and crossovers and unless modified to be dual rail cannot power things like the CD5 etc...pretty sure about that... Cheers Jim

This is correct - the SNAPS provided two, individual, single 24 volt supplies in standard form. These can be combined, often unofficially, to provide a 5 pin DIN, dual rail supply - suitable for the ".5" preamplifiers and later.

I used one outlet on my SNAPS with an attenuator to power a Sony Pro Walkman . You need to watch the quality of the DIN sockets though as they sometimes do not make contact!! The ones that Adam illustrated look as if they have been renewed? FF

Cleaned - at least. It is a "model" or example for production.
