Hello--
A quick question for the electrically savvy... I have read some posts about the benefit of installing a separate dedicated mains. I live in a condo, and have my own circuit breaker. The circuit for my living room controls all the sockets and lights for the room. The TV is in one of the sockets, but I can "turn off" that outlet by switching off a wall switch. My question is, since the power going to my living room is only used by my equipment (once I switch off the TV's socket) and ceiling lamp, would a separate dedicated mains still make a difference? Since I have my own circuit box, I presume no other apt. is sharing the power for my living room. Is there some way to test the power coming from my equipment's socket? Thanks BTW my gear: CDX/82+HC/180 (Nat 01 on the way!!) |
