lp12/armageddon/prefix/hicap/aro/arkiv-I (re-conditioned). lp12 on audiotech table. was going to get rid of vinyl section, but can't bring myself to do this.

cd2/nat02, hicap/ nac52 on a 5 level QS (level 2 and 4 unused right now). the cd2 and nc52 further isolated by audiophiles base.

nakamichi 582/ supercap / nap250 on Projekt 5 level support. levels 2 and 4 unused, not for long. next upgrade is probably 135's, then, with wife approval, cdsii.

Ken,

What on Earth would spur you to contemplate such nonsense. There is a certain magic with a full house LP12 that even the CDS2 cannot muster. Maybe it's the Audiotech table that's doing you a disservice. Have you tried Mana?

Hi Ken,

Well I guess James is right. I used Base and Audiotech too. Audiotech for my LP12 and Base for the rest. I wasn't really happy with that setup and I purchased a s/h Mana Ref. table to swap the Audiotech.
Oh dear what a difference. The Audiotech was crap in my setup. Even as I replaced the base against the Mana tables and at least the Isobarik stands.
My setup is so wonderfull now and I dont listen to the system anymore. I listen to the music.

I recomment Mana or look around for some other good racks but keep the LP12.

Hermann

...or maybe it is the turntable that needs servicing.

Ever remember those times when your LP-12 just sounded so right? [Sorry, Hermann I'm taking a leaf out of your webpage].

Hermann,

Take a look at the wording of the phrase in question, and tell me if it's structure is designed to implant thoughts...
