Current system:

CDX,XPS,102,Supercap,NAPSC,140, B&W P4s - NACA5, Naim interconnects, Music Works cables and 6 way block on home made rack.

Current thoughts:

2) CDX -> CDS2 or
3) 140 -> 135s
4) Replace speakers ?

Are you asking for advice or bragging or sharing your happiness?

With that much cash to deploy, if you're buying retail, your only option is to find a dealer and listen to the various options for yourself.

If you need to buy used, then it depends on what's on the market when you want to buy.

Any of the options you've outlined should be very satisfying indeed.

What fun!

Regards.

Phil

Get a pair of Credos; then an 82 - to do justice to your Supercap.

You have a delicious dilemma. A CDX with an Scap/82 is wonderfully musical - a very balanced system, in my experience, even without the XPS.
If you go straight to a 52, you might find that the system, although incredibly more revealing, also begins to unmask some weaknesses in the CDX/XPS. You'll immediately want the CDS2.
You could follow the source-first credo (no pun) and buy a CDS2, but the 102 will fail to reveal a third of the CDS2's glories.
My own chequered experience suggests you could go with the CDS2 first, and then get a 52 as soon as possible, even if you have to steal somebody else's bonus. While you're at it, steal another one and buy either a 250 or 135s.
