hi.

how often do you tighten the Fraim?

and can you actually hear if some of the nuts are loose?

six months since I tightened my Fraim.

I would say once a year, at a time of average humidity i.e. Spring or Autumn in temperate climes.

Well, I'd had mine set up maybe 4 months before I moved house. The sound had gone off a bit, but not so much that I'd bothered to investigate why. When I dismantled it several of the uprights were loose, & when I reassembled it (not a fair comparison, as it was obviously in a different room, with a hard floor & fraim chips) it did sound a lot, er... tighter!
