Has anyone else noticed significantly degraded signal strength on BBC FM radio broacasts over the last week or so, or is it just me?
I've found that occasionally neither light will illuminate on my NAT01; the signal has been reduced to poor mono. It's been variable, coming and going, so I don't believe my aerial cable has been damaged. I have reported the problem to the BBC but am still waiting a response. I'm not sure if it's just due to the weather conditions and is a common problem. The conspiracy theorist in me suspects it might just be the BBC trying to persuade us all to go digital! Regards, CB |

The BBC may be doing maintenance on the transmitter?
Check the FM section on their website. HTH Chris N |

The BBC do not own the transmitters, but checking on their website, your local emitter has been on reduced power due to maintenance. Full strength shall return

Full signal strength does seem to have returned, thankfully. I did in fact search the BBC website and tried numerous Google searches prior to phoning the BBC. Would you please be so kind as to advise the URL you found? Thanks and regards, CB |
