side question but sort of relevant - i'm also looking for a new pair 'cos a bigger room now..
Have anyone try Quad's ESL? Really that difficult to drive? Currently i'm on proac Response 1SC... still wetting abt a new pair of D28 if budget approves by the almighty (ok, wife...)

thanks to everyone for the advice. have bought the druids. to sharp a price to turn down. and dredging through the web shows they seem to work well with naim and are easily driven. cheers

Man you gotta be nicer to us  You can't buy speakers and not tell us how they sound  Congratulations on your purchase and I'm looking forward to your comments about the Druids. I'm thinking of getting a pair next year. Regards...

sorry about that, hadn't long been home and had only just pluged them in. first impressions - bloody hell they're massive! WAF gone but it's to late theyre in the house. but after playing around with positioning they're not so bad since they are only about 15-180mm deep. so put them about 500mm off the wall. plugged them in and wow big sound, real room fillers, a wee bit light on the mid but will play around with positioning and see what happens, but everything else beautifull! very impressed. will wait and see what happens as time goes on.
