Does anyone out there have any experience of the Power Plant mains supply?

I have recently seen them advertised in the UK and explained as plugging into your normal wall socket and then converting the AC supply into DC than back into clean AC supply.

What do they sound like with Naim kit?
What are the pros and cons?
What do Naim think of such power supplies - I wonder?
If they do provide musical benefits - why don't Naim build them?

They don't come cheap at £1200 for a P3000 and £2200 for a P600.

Seasonal Greetings

Hi Richard:

I have a P600 and it is superb, - in my view. Be aware that others think the PPs kill the music. I believe that the the P300 has been used to power full systems (for which it was not designed) and that's led to that view.

Keep in mind that I 'only' have Armageddon/Hi-Cap/250 powered from the P600 so the power draw is well within its limits.

Best Regards,
Mark DunnS
