May I just second Ashleys reply. You cant beat a Rega on aREga.They spent many hours of listening to develop their cartridge range. paul duerden

Dynavector 10x4 mkII, costs less that the Exact, sounds a lot better. need a spacer, 2mm sufficient. but it works into MM board, gives you MC sound(baby stage). better than almost all MMs(Rega's, Grados, etc). e&oe shahreza

I couldn't disagree more with Theo, Ashley and PD. Shahreza is spot on. The 10x4 is the best cartridge I put on P3's. That can be a bit expensive however. Personally I find the Goldrings a bit harsh and prefer the Ortofon 520 to the 1022. The Goldrings have a scrappy treble by comparison. The Ortofon 5xx series is the direct competition to the Goldring 1000 series. I haven't heard the Denon. Regards, Frank.

Id have to agree with Ashley and PD, the rega is the best cartridges ive heard, although the dynavectors do seem to get very good at the 20xL and H level. Phil
