Hi, and thanks. quote: The problem is I have to stack box over another box because of the space issue. Now, my Nait is over my CDP.
Oh well, it's not a perfect world! Yes CDP on the bottom would be the way to go I think. Please let us know how it all sounds when the Nap 180 is eventually fired up...... Regards, Chris

The nap180 will arrive today. I have been looking the the pre and can get either 112x or 102 for the same price! Don't know which one should I get?

Thanks. I saw that, but there is a nac 112x for about the same price. I like the 112 better with the black color and match with my CDP, but just wonder if the 102 is better than the 112!

I know that the 102 was higher class than the 112, but due to age, with newer technology, I guess the 112X, maybe close to the 102?

Get a 72! It is better than any [102, 112, etc], and has the sole disadvantage of lacking a remote.

The 102 is a fantastic pre, way better than the 112x I never listened to the 72, I heard that it's suppose to be a better for vinyl replay. At any rate I could not live without a remote. Regards, Edouard

I've received the nap180 yesterday, a big improvement over the nait5 alone. Sound is much cleaner in low volume. I have decided to buy the nac102 based on your recommendations here. The one I am buying comes with psc. How do I connect the psc to the nac102? What cable do I need? Will I get another big improvement over the nait5 as a pre? Thanks all for your help!
