I am trying to connect my newly puchased stageline powered by an original flatcap to my trusty nac 82. It appears that I require a 5-pin interconnect from the flatcap to the 82. Is this in fact an interconnect or a snaic?

The Stageline is supplied with a SNAIC 5 to go to the Flatcap, so you will need a interconnect to go from the Flatcap to your NAC 82, not a SNAIC.

If I remember correctly I think you need a 4-5 pin DIN interconnect from FC to 82.

Yep,you will need the 4-5 pin snaic when powering a Stageline with an external power supply.
