1) How long does it take to warm up the headline headphone amp. Out of the box, it wound a bit cold with Grado RS-1 phones?

2) How long does it take for the Naim CD 5 to come back up to speed after it has been shut off?

Thanks,

Jay

I understand that the headline doesn't sound to goo with Grado's at all - and that you might be better off with some high impedance 'phones - such as Sennheiser HD600's.

My 3.5 takes about a day to really work when it has been left to go completely cold. From new it was a about 1-2 weeks of solid playing before it really got going.

Cheers
Jonathan

I reckon about 5 days for all the electronics; with more to come from the expensive and or brand new stuff.

Bizzarely enough; the instruction manuals say the same!
