Northerners please help

I have a mate who is about to dip his first toe in the world of hi-fi separates. He had read the latest Hi-Fi mags and 'decided' on some equipment to buy.

I have suggested he might instead like to set a budget, think carefully about what matters to him in terms of sound, music styles etc and visit a reputable dealer. He lives in Leeds, and was aware of one dealer in York (Phonography?)

Would any of the northern bretheren care to reccommend a suitable dealer in the area they have had a good experience with?

If I have the time I will go and hold his hand - and make sure he tries Nait5/CD5, although his initial choices seems to be about half the price of this kit. Maybe I can get him to consider 2nd hand Naim gear.
