been reading the post @ this asylum. Has anyone or is anyone using Naim amplification to drive a pair of Spendor 1/2, or 3/1P or the S3/5 ? how is the synergy bet. these two ?
Are Naim amps tolerable of voltage fluctuations as high as 245 volts ?
Heard the Spendor SP1/2 and SP2/3 with 62/HC/140 and they sound wonderful. If you like the laid back, mellow and warmer sound, then you should audition Spendor or Harbeth.
Did anyone hear using the Harbeth with Nami gear?

I have been enjoying a Naim-Spendor marriage since I first obtained my SP1/2's back in 1994. All the time firng them with a 250. If you have the room get the older S100 and fire them with 135s. I have heard the older S100 and they beat the new SP100 hands down, IMHO. Seems I remember seeing a pair recently on Audioweb.com, in American Cherry.
All,
BTW, I am down in the London Docklands for these two weeks installing a comm kit for FT-Global One.
Cheers,
Cliff
