Hi!

After different problems with my speakers and cable I'm asking anyway...

The naim plugs on the end to the NAP is there a certain way to use them? Is it possible to use them "upside down"? Has the point on the letter i a certain direction?

Regards,

Adrian

Lots of people use them upside down with no (that I've read of) problem, as my dealer pointed out to me, NACA5 is so strong that it would probably jack my Nait5 off of the rack slightly, though they use other plugs anyway.

regards,
Paul

HI Adrian,

Yes there is a certain way to use Naim plugs. Make sure the speaker cable comes down from the plug after putting it in the back of the Nap. Also make sure the phasing is correct, i.e. + to + and - to -.

The arrow is to indicate the direction of the music and should go away from the speakers.

"The arrow is to indicate the direction of the music and should go away from the speakers"

Shouldn't the arrows point towards the speakers???

Mario.

Adrian,
You can take the plugs apart and make the cable feed out the top without upsetting the phasing.
