Speedo is ordering a third Neuance and if he eventually buys a TT that weighs more than his P25- like a P9, SME, LP12, or Avid Volvere, he'd like to buy this shelf in preparation for this upgrade. Speedo's from the light/rigid camp, but it never hurts to be prepared.

Aha !so if you are from the light rigid camp
you know:speedo should never mix the light rigid sound camp with the heavy mass camp,because that mix means often an absolute bad sound .In austria we say: you cannot be with one ass on two parties.

Speedo!I put my p3 on the original rega Wallshelf and it sounde great from the beginning.my planar9 is still in the box but i hope it will also sound perfect on the rega shelf.I f you have no rega shelf until know i
would reccomend it for your p25.Imo a platform is (or can be )an upgrade of a turntable.
think its not sinful to go the way from the other side:TO buy the platform first means that
the turntable will be an upgrade of the platform.
You can listen to a turntable whereever it is put on,but you cannot listen to aplatform without tt.my planar9 will play next week (cause i m waiting for spacers for correct Vta at the
moment)and then i will comment its sound on the shelf.

Thanks for weighing the P9 for Speedo. All Speedo knows is that whatever TT I get will be on a Neuance- it's an amazing accesory.

Could Speedo tell us a bit more about the Neuance shelves? They sound interesting.

Speedo bought a lot of crap for his TT and components (Bright Star sand boxes, Air Bladder devices, and BDR racing cones), which changed the sound sometimes for the better, but sucked away some of the musical message.
