That's always the best approach, though posting here suggests you may think otherwise! How about a Supernait? Nigel

Jezz. Welcome to the forum. I was just wondering if that is a record time elapsed between registering and first post?

How about a recap service for the Nait 3R? If its close to 10 years old, that could be a nice "upgrade". And what are the speaker cables you're using?
Bye.

I've got NACA cables etc. What is the perfect amp setup to accompany the CDX? Did NAIM have one?

For the pre 32.5 and 72 will be great, 202 and 282 too... and you could go as far as a 552 with the CDX! For the amp: 140, 180, 200...300 you may get find the perfect answer on this thread: nait 5i vs 72/140 http://forums.naim-audio.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/48019385/m/5372957017...what's your budget?? Hello Jezz, A few years back I had CDX/Nait3/M15. Nice system! Without a doubt, the best upgrade for you is to add an XPS to your CDX. This will do amazing things to your cd player. Also, make sure you have a good support under your cd player. If you haven't already done so, you should also install a dedicated AC line to feed your audio gear. Best regards, Brian
