SL2s are fine, but active SL2s are a different creature

Personally, for the money, I would hunt out some Mk2 SBLs instead. And another 250 and SNAXO242 and supercap for that. Send everything back to Naim for checkover/updating/recapping etc. Then get my dealer to reinstall the whole lot onto some Fraim.

Then you would have something extraordinary, which has amazing detail, and far far better value than a newish pair of passive sl2s.

in fact i might even be tempted to stay with the credos and drive them properly. Then think about speaker upgrades in the future -- either to SBLs or to SL2s. But not yet.
