After reading this thread,I dug out (yes this would appear to be the correct terminoligy) the album "SALISBURY" 1971 vintage...I think. Boy,I dont remember it sounding that dated !!! I think I need my butt-legnth hair and way too many bottles of Newcasle Brown Ale to appreciate this album. (for the un-initiated,Newcastle Brown is a kind of "alcoholic sludge" in a bottle,but way-back-then,for the rockers it was the Only drink to be seen with,and I seem to remember enjoying it...How times change...) Rog "Humble Pie were much better than Uriah Heep" I totally agree with you, though they were quite different. The first time I saw Humble Pie was at the Top Rank, Bristol in '72, supported by Pete Frampton. Favourite moments were Walk On Guilded Splinters & I Don't Need No Doctor. Great gig. Bob.
