Does anyone know if the pin configuration has changed on the burndy cables ?

A 252 seems not work with an old burndy to the old SC. The front panel lights come on.. mute button flashes.. No logo.. no sound. Still like that 5 mins later.

Shame because my burndy has been burnt in nicely.

Naim put accidentally the wrong burndy cable in my 252 box (too thick, probably for 552).

So my dealer did this tests too. But we had the same symptoms as you...

But the new supercap works with the old burndy and 52 - hope to get the right cable real soon though

Yes Alan Config has changed and Sorry Adrian hopefully Jean has a new one on the way.

So if you by a 252 to go with an old SC you need a new burndy. Ok but does the new burndy come with the 252 or do you have to buy separately?

The 252 comes with its own burndy so don't worry there. I would of liked to make a direct comparison of the hardware with a single burndy but that wasn't possible due to the different pin configs.

Paul: Thanks - the 252 burndy cable came in later this morning by DHL. I burned to have it since before christmas. Now my own present works like a charm.

Dobbin: Bad luck for you too! Contact your dealer or naim directly by mail or phone - they cannot read every new post... (and I will not send you mine )

btw. the new black-faced 252/Scap/250 will blow it's olive predecessors 52/Scap/250 out in the weeds (outch - I know - but I'll had to tell you).

Adrian, glad you got it, sorry we packed a whole bunch of them with the wrong lead just before Christmas!!! ouch!!
