I recently attempted to (twice) post a message on a more “mainstream” (read: round-earth), moderated forum and it was not posted. In the post I called into question certain round-earth assumptions, and asked what the ultimate goal of hi-fi is: perfect sound or better music. I used no profanity, no libelous phrases (though I did mention my personal disdain for Krell), and was generally polite. And they just wouldn’t post it, the wusses. I know it would have garnered some heated debate, but short of credible death threats (I live in the US, remember), I just cannot see any reason not to allow the post. How pitiful.

So some of the censorship that Naim has committed in the past isn’t that terrible: at least they let messages be posted, even if they alter some profanity.

Of course, this is all very disheartening to a person such as myself who abhors censorship in almost every conceivable form. The internet used to be touted as a great communication tool, but it is becoming increasingly apparent that it is a great communication tool only as long as the user reflects the opinion of the system administrators. Bah!

Interesting here, I have a strong feeling that if the posibility for censorship was given to some
members, there was a censorship here (not against me, ofcourse...).

Naim managers are okay in this manner.
There is a member here (don't remember his name now) that shouts about Naim faults and it is a wonder to me that he is still a member with free access to post here.
