My CDX2 went to the agent place for pickup change due to skipping. But after changing the len the CDX2 develop knocking sound for CD that are more then 60 mins. I had raise this issue to the agent and he had so far change 3 pickup, the 2nd one works perfectly without any knocking sound for 2 months then somehow it begin to show the symptom again. Today i drop by the agent place and the guy change a brand new transport in front of me and it work perfectly. When i reach home the knocking sound came back after 3 CDs. Any idea what is wrong? Should i live with this flaw of my CDX2? Please advise.

No - it is not as it should be - mine just plays music - no skipping and no knocking sounds - yours needs changing for one that is perfect.

I hope your agent can sort it out for you. I think it's a known problem with some CDX2s.

It is not skipping now but i develop into a knocking sound whenever you place in the CD which is more then 60 mins into the player. The player will develop a knock sound after reading a TOC. when you start play and begin to forward to the last few track the knocking sound will appear again. The dealer mention that if but changing the len 3 times and it does not work it mean that the servo had fail? i can't believe my luck, a 16 months old high end CDP like CDX2 is so unreliable.
