Hello !

It's nice to see so much Nait2 owners at one place. Well, I am one of them (with same problem).
I found that "anomalia" on my ex amp Audiolab 8000A and it's nothing clear about it to me. What I want to ask is... I was buy USED Nait2 2,5 years ago. Few says before I was sprayed a volume control knob from inside and then I was see an "Elna" capacitors inside. After that I was make a call to man which was send me Nait2 and ask him is it original or not capacitors. He told me that he was have one Nait2 which was burned and the capacitors are re3placed. He tells me that my is o.k. Please can anyone can tell me is Nait2 have really "Elna" capacitors inside or not.

Thanks, Ozren.

Ozren,

Probably, your nait2 caps were replaced by some other non-naim specified caps. I believe naim currently uses aerovox caps although i am not sure of the past. But i don't think they ever used elna. Your best option now is to send your amp back to a qualified naim dealer for a service.

Regards
Laxton
