Hi
I am about to sell a chrome bumper HiCap and a n olive Nac72 Pre amp on ebay. Am I correct in thinking that its the Hicap that is supplied with the snaic cable?

Yep - the thing that the pre-amp is plugging into (ie. psu or power amp) defines what type of cable is required.
Otherwise preamps would have to be supplied with a selection of cables to cover connection to Hi-Cap, DIN power amp (eg. 140), XLR power amp (eg.250).
