I think they would work ok.
Might be worth paging forum regular "J.N." as he has a pair and would be able to tell you more.
Welcome to the forum btw.

I have ESL63s driven by 135s. Sounds really amazing.
I also have a CB250 that makes 'em sing too. Occasionally, my left channel shuts down on either of the amps.....Strange that it's always the left. I even swapped speakers, left to right, and switched the placement of the 135s. Any ideas?
I can drive my SBLs all day at obnoxious levels and they (135s or 250) don't even break a sweat.
I know the 63s have protection circuitry, but I don't believe the 57s do....Will the 5i have the ability to shut down if overloaded?

I had a Nait 2 that worked well with the 63s too.
Do take Marc's advice seriously tho...Don't push the 57s too much. If you like to listen very loud, you'll be in trouble...
BTW a good sub to pair would be the sunfire mkIV....with the x/o set at about 35 or 40 hrz.

I think the sub gave it away.

I see. It really works well with the ESLs. The newer Quads (989s?) don't even need a sub. They are magical on the end of Naim. Funny thing is that the Sunfire was the only piece of kit I didn't get from them. The rest of my gear is all from Promusica.

I suggest you contact naim for advice. I use a 250 to drive original ELS and I have had it modified to reduce the output voltage. This is a standard naim approved modification -- maybe it also exists for the Nait ? Look at recommended amplifiers James H
