Ugo:
I don't know where else you can get the 3M feet that Mana uses. They are simple rubber pads with stick-ons, probably not worth anyone's time to sell them retail. I have no idea whether they work well on non-Mana stands. They seem to couple the equipment to the stands better than the regular LP12/CDS feet. Again I make no recommendations -- try them out -- but I prefer my CDS without, my LP12 with. Hock |

Why? Because Mana and the rubber feet equal mental fraud?

the 3M feet for use with Mana kit where equipment such as the CDX is used is to provide an emergy transfer 'impedence' match. It is not that they are 'superfeet'. Just a solution for (in this example) the mismatch between glass and aluminium feet. So Vuk is right - if you don't have mana racks, you don't need these feet. No smoke and mirrors at all, eh! Just common sense and a logical approach. Rico - musichead |

Interesting to note the wide choice of different feet - I wonder if anyone has experimented with them, or is there a good reason for picking the ones that Mana have. FWIW, I have replaced the rubber feet on my LP12 with a set of the 3M feet and it does work, albeit in a different way than I expected.
It would be interesting to hear the 3M sewing machine feet ;-) TC '..' |

quote: Joe: I think you've found them. I wonder if the red or pink ones sound any different. I'll leave that as a project for Vuk. Maybe we'll all end up with pink rubber ball nuts. Seriously though, I spoke with Steve at Flat Earth Audio a while back and he says the feet are less than 10 cents each. I imagine if you send him (or Mana) a self addressed envelope with a buck in it you'll get enough 3m feet for a decade or so. Arthur Bye |

Hmmm... you're probably right!
I was quite amazed at how, well, tiny the 3M feet actually are - I expected something a bit more substantial. Damian at Mana popped a set into the box when I originally ordered my reference shelf for the LP12 but I didn't get round to trying them out until I moved up to Phase 3 under the Linn last week... It says they give out free samples. I imagine 4 free samples would be just about right. Lets see...... concave?...... convex?...... decisions, decisions, decisons...... Arthur Bye |

Joe,
your comment re 30,000 minimum order implies the 5329, 5376 or 5745 products. It's not the 5329 or 5376 because they're clear. 5745 is too big. The ones Mana sent me are 8mm diameter & 3mm high. This could only be 5076 on this list. However, since custom shapes & adhesives are possible it is possible these aren't any off-the-shelf product. For information, B&Q in the UK sell a lot of styles of 3M stick-on bumps, although I haven't looked to see if they stock this exact model. cheers, Martin |

Thank you Rico!
It took me quite a few attempts to get the right foot for the Greenline. Clear was best to my ears. Then of course there is the question of shape, I think you might The biggest difference I found was in the compliance of the foot. Bob ( Feeling rather smug! ) |

The correct part number is SJ5012, color is black. Sorry to let you guys suffer this long;)
FWIW, 3000 are at FEA and 3000 (on the way) to Pinner. How you finagle them is up to you ! I expect you to buy some Mana if you weasel these folks for free feet. enjoy, undercover dave |

P.S. Joe P. gets the prize for best research. Of course, I wouldn't expect any less of a person that pushes the envelope by walking a flat earth without an lp-12. Good job Mr. Petrik !
