The new albums from 'Turin Brakes' and 'I am Kloot' are both excellent although lyrically the former can be a bit challenged. Also if you have'nt bought the new 'Divine Comedy' album 'Regeneration' I suggest you do so. Totally superb far and away his best yet.

A mixture of revisiting old stuff and catching up with stuff I bought recently, none of it particularly radical:

Van Morrison - Veedon Fleece Old friend. On vinyl. Glorious.
Leonard Cohen - Songs of Love and Hate About the only LC I didn't have. Seems it was quite an ommision.
Nick Cave etc - No More Shall We Part Unimpressed when I first bought this. Am beginning to change my mind.
Ben Harper etc - Burn To Shine Patchy, but reasonable enough. Anyone have his trip to mars?

I've got it and find it pretty good. Two very different discs with the second a lot more acoustic (my fave). The Verve's "The drugs don't work" is a highlight for me.

It actually sounds like a live album rather than one from the studio with some crowd samples. Much more to my taste.
