Hi there everyone, Garfield here!! As I lie back and digest my lasagne, I like to listen to good music.

I am on the look out for new music to listen to and I heard the track "Mighty Trucks of Midnight" by Bruce Cockburn and liked what I was hearing.

On the basis of this track I have ordered Nothing but a Burning Light. What other albums of Bruce's are a must own or at least worth considering?

Following on from this, are there any other similar artists that I should consider.

For me the essential BC are Humans, Breakfast in New Orleans, The Charity of Night, Nothing but a burning light, Further Adventures and In the falling dark, all fantastic albums. I would start with these but nearly all Bruce's discs are really good.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your reply - I guess you are a fan of the man! Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained - I will get busy on Amazon tonight and order up a couple of your suggestions.

Simply purrfect

I would add 'Dancing In The Dragon's Jaws' and 'Salt, Sun And Time' to Jim's list.

Cheers

Ricky.
