Just watched Sun Systems Java Conference 2008 where Neil Young was speaking about his up and coming Archive Vol 1.

He talked about Archive Vol 1 coming out as a 10 disc release on Blu Ray. It is not coming out on cd.

It will cover the period 63-72. No mention of price either.

He gets about Old Neil doesn't he

..... 10 blu-ray discs?? pretty cheap huh? ....he likes his hi res audio releases does our Neil doesn't he? ....apparently his most favoured format is 2 channel DVD-A! and he still releases a fair amount of material on vinyl ....I don't think he's ever liked the sound of CD.
....The original vinyl 4 channel Quad release of "Harvest" (remastered onto CD) sounds fine through a 5.1 set up although the sub-woofer channel is not utilised (purist?..me?...not really!)

BTW Any sign of the Edinburgh gig appearing as an (ahem') unofficial download ewemon?

He has 3 new bits of thick vinyl out.
