Ken,
I've recently bought this one & agree its a great blues CD.Have you heard an earlier Keb'Mo'
by the same name, I think its about 1994.Its even better.
I've seen it in the HMV sale for £4.99 an absolute bargain.
Have you listened to any of Eric Bibb's music

Dave

hi dave h, thanks for picking this up. i have 2 other keb mo's -- "just like you" and "keb 'mo' " .. his style has grown on me -- and i thoroughly enjoyed "the door".

eric beeb: oh man ... i think i have 3 of his albums -- "spirit and the blues" remains a favourite -- i am just about to order "just like love" -- i gather this is a gem also.

are you into blues?? what other stuff do you consider "must haves"???

enjoy...

I have Keb's first album on vinyl and it's a keeper. Surprisingly good blues for someone so young.

If you can, check out Eric Bibb's old Opus 3 vinyl releases, such as "River Road", "E. Bibb and Friends", and "Golden Apples of the Sun". Pure magic, but sadly out of print.

Cheers

Keith.

I agree that Keb Mo's great, I've got a couple of his CD's and if you like this try some Robert Cray.

But he's become a little cliched as he seems to be the CD of choice in most demo rooms.

Liked The Door however consider his previous albums better. Have a number of Erics; Roadworks being the most recent will hear him in the flesh on 14th May then Robert Cray in June Live music great.

If you like blues then may I suggest

Weppin Willie on APO
Humert Sumlin on APO
