I gave the Massive Attack No Protection CD on my system this evening. I heard more detail than ever before after my recent upgrades but the 1st track is still a little system unfriendly. The bass on "Radiation Ruling The Nation" sounds horrible on every system I've tried - the rest sounded nice though.

I agree with you, I think the track haven't been recorded in the same time. There is the same problem on "Stripped" by the Rolling Stones, the two first songs are not as well recorded as the over songs, maybe the electronics were not enough warm during the recording.
