I'll take a stab that it's the kids that are dragging you along to the Chuckle Bros. Better have a "few" to numb the pain.

Would you mind letting me know what the Manics are like - playing the new disc at the mo (not bad) and seeing them in Norwich on Wednesday.

I'm hoping to be able to raise the cash to see the Moody Blues at Chateau Ste. Michelle winery this July; but I am a poor mendicant.

I miss Ray Thomas.

In response to above re the manics. Excellent gig and atmosphere at Preston though at best pretty dreadful sound.

A pity the crowd seemed more interested in lapping up the old anthems rather than the new tracks though, lots of philistines heading to the bar every time something new was played.

Highlights though they played Imperial body bags Smile for the first time I think on the tour...

How was Norwich?

Norwich was very good - great crowd of mixed ages, great setlist of old and new (we got Imperial Body Bags too) but no Kevin Carter Frown . A good night though.
