Thanks Munch,

I'll have a look for that Cure DVD. As previously mentioned I'll also be seeing Kate Rusby in March so plenty to look forward to!

Bruce Springsteen at Old Trafford. Pity about the venue, but should be a good concert.

Yasmin Levy, born on December 23, 1975 in Jerusalem, is an Israeli singer of Sephardic music. Her late father, Yitzhak Levy, was a pioneer researcher into the long and rich history of the Ladino music and culture of Spanish Jewry and its diaspora. With her distinctive and emotive style, Yasmin has brought a new interpretation to the medieval Ladino/Judeo-Spanish song by incorporating more "modern" sounds of Spanish Flamenco, as well as traditional instruments like the oud, violin, cello, and piano. Her debut album was Romance & Yasmin in 2000, which earned her a nomination as Best Newcomer for the BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards 2005, followed in 2005 with her second album La Juderia. According to her official MySpace page, she is currently working on a new album - Mano Suave - which will be released late summer/early fall 2007.

ewemon,
It was a right result. 5 miles up the road and a nice small venue that i have been to hundreds of times and the Tull are playing it, and on a Saturday. Smile

Sorry to hear your disapointment Dicuss. Luckily I booked direct from the Corn Exchange and got a nice seat in the Balcany. I'm sure you will enjoy Neil Young, give my regards to Jet & ewemon.

I'm not majorly disappointed, i'm not a big fan just thought they'd be good having seen them on Jools.

Will give my regards -seems mildly odd that your not coming after us all meeting for Steely Dan

I'd love to visit, we just need to tune in our diaries. If you mail me via my profile, I'll pass on my mobile and we can make arrangements.
