As an ex CW fan, it left me luke warm in the shop, but I am keen to read other opinions. Didn't seem to see it in the "what are u listening to right now" thread...

I like her older records a lot but lost a little interest over the last few years - have not heard the new one yet.

Pretty much the same here, Miles... Liked the old stuff, then raised more than an eybrow with the "Belly Of The Sun" kind of records, but somehow can't be bothered any more. I have raised this topic, because it rarely happenes that there is an artist on top of your favs, that manages to sink down the list.

Stefan - I promised you I would let you know what it was like when I played it again. I still have not played it. Maybe that says something....

Life's too short for another stroppy jazz diva - not seen much development over the last couple of CDs. Like you, I listened in the shop and wasn't impressed enough to hand over the moolah. Will be interested to hear contrary commentary.
