Antonio Forcione was playing live in Reading on Saturday. This was quite a small venue and the place was sold out. They'd laid it out with coffee/drinks tables so the atmosphere was quite intimate and convivial.

Antonio was a bit nervous in the beginning but he soon settled down to deliver some great stuff, accompanied by a young percussionist called Rony Barrak.

Most of the music was stuff off the Live album, but there were a couple of new bits and the Acoustic Revenge title was played with some hilarious improvisation between the two.

Humour plays quite a part in Antonio's live set, and the combination with Rony was synergistic, to say the least. It was quite a long set too, starting at 8.40 (an Italian version of 8.30:) and finishing at about 10.45 with only a 25 minute break in the middle.

I bought Ghetto Paradise from Antonio's better half and got him to sign it at the end of the show. He just came to the centre of the room and had a chat with anyone who was there (lots), which was great.

All in all, a very enjoyable evening.

Regards,
Frank.

It's a Naim label release so it's not available on vinyl. Incidentally, I've sold the Densen.

What the heck are you doing in here?

I'm going to hazard a guess at what type of CD player Frank is using and it may well include a gadget that bears more than a passing resemblance to something that resides Here

We are just doing a deal with German Hifi mag called IMAGE to release "none but the lonely heart" on the black stuff. Watch this space......

We have had many approaches from companies to release our titles on Vinyl, when I asked them how many they sell, top earners seem to be around 300 pieces, not very interesting.

Hi Paul

There are quite a few of your titles that I would dearly love to be available on vinyl and I suspect that I'm not the only one. This is quite a good medium for canvassing customers to assess demand.....

Regards
Steve
