Can't really blame PG if his backing were off form - I think the Genesis high point was Trespass . PG always was innovative, but the others, to me, could have been a group of session musicians (in Steve Hackett's case a very good session musician). Never saw the point of Genesis without PG - except as money making machine. Apologies for being controversial.

I must agree. Though "Wind and wuthering", "A trick of the tail" and especially "And then there were three" do have their moments... First solo album by Collins is really good but it's all down-hill from there on! Gabriel still makes great music though "up" isn't as good as previous work... I especially like his theme-music! Jilles.
