...that Antonio is playing tonight at Cranbrook School that is.

I've only just found out in the local paper which arrived today and it's only 20-odd miles away.

Seriously though, how about a sticky 'Naim Gig Guide' for quick and easy reference at the top of the music room?

Andy - who's now sad he can't make it.

Andrew,
There was a thread I started a couple of weeks ago regarding this concert. At such an obscure venue I thought it might need some extra advertising on here.
I went last night and it was fabulous. First time I've seen him. He certainly has a unique style with the guitar prefering to use it as about 10 instruments and at one point as a typewriter. The quartet works pretty well together but I have to say his solo's are incredible.
He reckons the new album will be out around April.
I shall be going again.

Thanks Smile

He is brilliant though, would have loved to have been there. I think a gig sticky at the top of the music room is a good idea though, as I did look through the first two pages of the music room, but didn't see a post mentioning it.

Ho hum, I'm sure there'll be another locally - does Antonio have a web site?

Off to Google...

Andy.

EDIT: Web site here complete with concert list

If you want a real treat try to get hold of his Cd Acoustic Revenge, if possible try to get hold of the original recording [ not the Naim one] on the Inspiration Label AFCD1, one of his all time favourites [he might have a few copies left] imho it's a better experience ,more earthy that the more polished Naim copy or better still get both.
oldie.

New glasses required Andy. Original post about 1/2 way down page 2. Cool
Agree regarding a sticky for upcoming concerts would be useful.
Looks like Dean St, Pizza Express in April is the next closest concert. Just think, AF, a Fiorentina (Egg & Spinach) and a few splashes of Peroni!!! Razz Sounds like a good night.

Yep, seen it now, I was looking for Anna Tooth as the original poster, not yourself, I didn't look at the thread titles Roll Eyes

Antonio in Edinburgh, 25th February - anyone going?

I am, I've also talked a few guys from the ofice into tagging along, should be fun. Went to see AF and the band last August (during the festival) and took the wife, who actually enjoyed it (hallelujah!)
