Visit Virgin.net CD Wow offer to get a chart CD for a fiver, including delivery.

My problem is I don't know which to choose - anyone care to pick one as a stand-out album for me?

Andy.

Hi Andrew

Great bargain! Just had a quick look at the site. I recommend "Parachutes" by Coldplay which I think is a fantastic album (beautiful songs, beautiful tunes, beautifully sung) the David Gray album is good, and the new U2 album is excellent - in the CD player a lot at the moment.

I haven't heard these, but wouldn't mind getting the new Fatboy Slim album. His last album was good and I've heard Half way between... is more chilled out, which sounds interesting. I think the new Robbie Williams album might be quite good as well...

I'd go for Parachutes.

Well spotted.

A bargain deal - Virgin have obviously tied up with CD Wow, due , no doubt, to the latters success.

I've used CD Wow for a while and the service is great - CD's for £ 8.99 is competitive.

Good one Andrew - I like a bargain

Avoid Sailing to Philadelphia at all costs - this has got to go down as the worst album of the year!
It maybe HDCD but it's total Blah!

I agree with Anna - Coldplay maybe.

NB there are some rather good thingies lurking in the 8.99 bracket too... I spent a bomb Again! Thanks MATE!

Thanks to Anna and everybody for the response, I like what I've heard on the radio, so I'm off to get a Parachute...

Received my copy of Parachutes today, and I heartily agree with everyone above, definitely an excellent album, full of great songs and well recorded to boot.

It'll be a while before this one leaves the player....

Andrew

Thanks for the tip-off. CD ordered last week and already delivered. The new Wyclef Jean CD 'Eclefic' is worth a listen.

After reading a rave review in a recent issue of Listener magazine I had a brief listen in the record shop. Within two bars of the first song, I knew that I was going to like this album. Three weeks later I still have to listen daily. Any news of a new Coldplay album in the works?
