There will be people who are curious about the Tool-lite offshoot 'A Perfect Circle' and their new album 'eMOTIVe'. No, really, there are people out there.

It's a bonkers collection of covers - John Lennon's 'Imagine', Depeche Mode's 'People are People', Led Zep's 'When the levee breaks' and other things from Marvin Gaye, Black Flag etc. General protest song type stuff.

I'll reserve judgement on how good or bad it is for now, but it is so far removed from Tool as it is possible to be. Seriously - it makes The Thirteenth Step (which I love) seem like thrash metal.

I bought Mer De Noms a while back, but didn't like it enough anyway to consider getting any more.

Well, why would it sound like Tool? They are completely seperate entities

For what its worth, its actually quite good. I'm not a fan of covers, but they have managed to create a totally different slant on some well known and loved songs. MJK's vocals are yet again, stunning.
