The Massy Hall concert is a master peice, one of my favourite CD's. Will be interested in hearing it on vinyl.
Thanks for the heads up. Do you know if they ship to the UK?

I agree, I can pay retail prices in $US at 50% of sterling and even with courier costs it's still way cheaper than Diverse. There are some cheaper UK vinyl sites though.

Can you direct us to any? I've been using Stamford, decent service but no cheaper.

I have to agree with you all , I always ring Diverse before making an order because they don't always have the stock .
If I do a large order of around 10 albums then I look at the US sites because even with the import tax it usually works out cheaper .

Glad I don't have to deal with customers like you. This is utter rubbish, a completely unwarranted attack on a very reputable company, IMO.

Bet you buy your hi-fi this way, as well. What will you do when exchange rates turn round and all the UK suppliers have gone out of business?
Ever tried getting a faulty pressing exchanged across the Atlantic?

There is always the cheap and nasty option. Is this the way you buy your hi-fi, too?

Some people value things like good service, proper packing and records which arrive without the sleeves cut to buggery.

BTW, I have no connection with Diverse other than as a customer.

When you have to hang on for 3 months for an order .That HMV uk had in stock the whole time for less money.
It was not an attack on them it was fact.
Also why pay over £25.00 for Peter Gabriel classic vinyl when you can get it from Peter's site for a hell of a lot less.

It's not an unwarranted attack, it's a fact which was going on five years ago. Obviously, nothing changes.

Have you ever tried getting a faulty pressing from Diverse? I found Diverse to have a serious attitude problem. I look forward to the day they go bust.

P.S. I know we all enjoy a bit of ott banter on this forum, but I'm always very polite and patient with people I'm dealing with.

You may have a score you need to settle with this company, but they are probably unaware of this discussion and I find attacks on reputable companies of this nature to be a serious problem with Internet forums.

I actually cannot believe it is allowed or acceptable without some right of reply. In my view it should be moderated.

I completely disagree abbydog.

Count.d is sharing experience, so it's not an unwarranted attack,
& it's not like he's the only member to raise problems with this company.
I for one am grateful he's taken the time to tell us, & this is a great thing about forums IMO.

If the problems count.d has suffered were a one off Diverse,
like any other company has nothing much to fear, & they do have a right of reply.

Businesses that dismiss valid customer concerns always go to the wall.
You might want to send yourself on a customer service course while you can.

The DOORS LP Box Set - It's actually happening!!! thread to see how they operate.

Sorry, 555. Your own experience with this company is what, exactly? Have you had personal experience of having your 'valid customer service concerns'dismissed?

Do you want to see this company go to the wall? Is that why you make that point? Is that your agenda?

Sorry, I find this unnacceptable. If these postings were being made on another forum about Naim without their knowledge or reply, how would they feel?

How would you feel if this was your business?

I don't belive this is ethical or reputable.

No need to apologise abbydog.
I have no experience with this company, but in terms of my input this is irrelevant.
I have suffered mediocre to dreadful customer service from other companies more times than I care to remember.

I want to see Diverse get their act together & treat their customers well.
If they can't do that they will only have only themselves to blame if/when they fail.
My agenda is fair trading for both businesses & customers; what's yours?

If Diverse was my businesses I would be very concerned I'd let my customers down,
& I would work very hard to put things right for them before they take their business to the competition.

Only companies who fail their customers fear freedom of information;
I have no doubt this doesn't apply to Naim,
which is probably why this forum is so open & relatively free.
Why does this concern you so?

Thanks.

So the rest of your text can be disregarded, since claims the company needs to get its act together are based on thin air and rumour.

This is what concerns me and Naim are as vulnerable to this sort of activity as any other company.

As previously stated, I have no connection with Diverse other than as an occasional customer.

I've also experienced delays and poor service from Diverse. This is not "thin air and rumour".

I would hate to see any company go down the tubes, but nevertheless it's important that such companies look very carefully at their performance and not just rely on numbers of complaints to measure their performance, a common yardstick but one that is inappropriate for the "English" mentality.

There are many other vinyl suppliers out there who thankfully know rather better how to treat their customers.
